Community Member Events
We are committed to the communities we serve and are passionate about meeting our members where they are. Our Community Engagement Team sponsors and hosts local events and community organizations, supports local health fairs, provides educational workshops, participates in EBT FoodShare matching at farmer's markets and more! Our goal is to share the education, resources and support needed for you to live happy and healthy lifestyle. Below is a list of events happening in our community. These events are open to the public and CCHP members.

Empower Ability Alliance Backpack Giveaway
The Empower Ability Alliance Backpack Giveaway provides free backpacks, school supplies, shoes, haircuts, food, games, and housing resources for local families.

Mexican Fiesta
Join CCHP in celebrating three days of fun, food, Mariachi, and Fiesta for everyone. Mexican Fiesta is more than just a celebration; it is a vigorous declaration of community spirit at its best.

5th Annual Back to School
Join us for Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin’s 5th Annual Back to School Bash in Milwaukee! This will be a fun, family-friendly event packed with activities, health & wellness resources and community support!

Brown Deer Farmer's Market - National Dog Day
Join us this summer at the Brown Deer Farmer's Market for National Dog Day! This special event will feature all of the same fun and healthy foods as the weekly farmers market but on August 26, attendees can bring their dogs! Hope to see you and your furry friends there!

Community Resource Fair & Cinema Night
Join us for a fun-filled evening of family entertainment and valuable resources at Planned Parenthood's Community Resource Fair and Cinema Night ! This community event is designed to connect you with essential services and support from many of dedicated community partners.

CCHP at Mission of Christ Lutheran Church
Chorus Community Health Plans will be partnering with the food pantry located at Mission of Christ Lutheran Church. We will be on-site to assist with resources, health insurance questions and any other needs.
When: Every Monday and Friday from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
