Who Receives Dental Care from BadgerCare Plus
- If you live in Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Washington or Waukesha counties, your dental services are covered through CCHP.
- If you live in any other Wisconsin county, your dental services are covered by the State of Wisconsin. You may see any dentist who accepts a Forward Health card.
How Your Medicaid Dental Benefits Work
If you live within the six-county metro area, your dental benefits are delivered through CCHP. We help you schedule an appointment with a participating dentist within 90 days. This helps ensure your dental needs never wait too long.

If you live outside the six-county region, your dental benefits are covered by the State of Wisconsin. You may visit any dentist who accepts your ForwardHealth card. This gives you several options to get the care you need.
