What is the MAC?
The Member Advisory Council (MAC) is a group of Chorus Community Health Plans (CCHP) members and CCHP staff who work together to make us the plan of choice in Wisconsin. This group listens, learns and shares experiences with each other to improve our programs, services and benefits.
What do MAC members do?
CCHP MAC members are people who:
- Want to improve the health plan experience for other individuals, children and families who have CCHP coverage
- Want to share their story, feedback and experiences first-hand
- Make an impact earn compensation by sharing their perspectives
- Want to help plan improvements to our programs, services and benefits
Who can be a MAC member?
Any actively enrolled member can join the MAC after approval from the MAC Staff Advisors. We strive to have a council of members who are of different ages, cultures, life experiences and people who live in different parts of the community.
How do MAC members help CCHP?
- Review materials shared, ask questions, and provide feedback
- Share stories or personal experiences
- Attend community events to better understand the needs of members and local communities
- Work with staff to find creative ways to understand the needs of other members
- Focus on solutions that benefit a wide range of member

We need your feedback! MAC members help us continue our commitment to improving the health and well-being of the members and communities that we serve. As a thank you for your time and feedback, members will also receive a $50 incentive after each meeting for their participation.
