Support Programs
Women who participate in the Healthy Mom Healthy Baby program receive education throughout their pregnancy on the benefits of breastfeeding and how to prepare for the birth of their baby.
Many of the Breastfeeding Educational Support Team (BEST) staff are Certified Lactation Counselors, who have received special training in breastfeeding education and support. They are available during pregnancy and throughout the mom and baby’s first weeks and months to answer questions, connect them with supplies and support, and assist them in reaching their breastfeeding goals.
These services are available to all members of CCHP even if they are not involved in HMHB during pregnancy.
